Bernadini Produce

Bernadini Drive-in Produce Market was located at 15^th and Richmond since before 1946. Geno Bernadini later operated Geno’s bar (now CJ’s). Daniell Produce took over for Bernadini and still operates on Commercial Avenue.

The apartment upstairs had remained occupied long after the business downstairs closed. The building is completely empty now. The windows have since been boarded up. I spoke with a demolition contractor over a year ago who was working on a cost estimate for demo of this building.

Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at 3:30 P.M., the front face of this building gave way and it moved from the Top Ten to The Graveyard.
