Journal Gazette

The Journal Gazette building was located next to the post office along Charleston Avenue.  It was built in 1912.  The building underwent an extensive renovation and addition in 1958.  But the building still proved to small for the newspaper and they moved out in November of 1974.  The building was eventually razed for parking for Consolidated Communications.
